To Substack or not to Substack that is the question.

So yesterday I set up my sub stack with someone watching of course and confirmed everything and added my Twitter and LinkedIn. A couple of hours later we went back and it said your username is something like karmen34667 even though I had already received an email from substack confirming my username was karmeninspires.Then everyone I previously subscribed to was gone.

Things that make you go Hmmm.It was just a reminder to keep all information backed up a minimum of three times.Pros I like that you can have a leaderboard and gift memberships .Cons they only use stripe so in addition to the 10% fee there is an additional 3% why not just accept direct deposit.Another con is after you subscribe you still get an email saying click here to claim your free post after you open the newsletter.Isn't that the whole point of subscribing.You can just go to substack and read the content or view it in the app.I have learned you want to make things as user friendly as possible and make it easy for people to do what you want them to do .

My vibes are usually right about things and people .All that being said I will probably still do a free substack.We will see✨💫🙏
