Colloquialisms and Accents✨πŸ’«πŸŒ

 Peace and Love

I'm getting ready to wash my hair.It is wooly and some of the curls are tight.I love it.

One day I was working with this lady and we were talking about things that we do different in the country. She said instead of wash they say warsh .I'm going to warsh the clothes. I'm going to warsh my hair.

This artist came to St.Louis and when he finished he said I wanna thank y'all for coming out because I know y'all could have been somewhere doing y'all huur.Needless to say we haven't heard much from him anymore lol just kidding

In Georgia like they just drop the s off the word. For example someone would say what yo name ea?I thought that was amazing. My friend Kelly didn't think so.Harmony was talking to me the other day and she said what kind of spurut instead of spirit is that and we laughed.

We were talking about colloquialisms and how people say different things in different places.I was talking to someone from Kenya and he said something that we have is called something different in Swahili and they say mesa for table like in Spanish.

It's interesting in languages when you can learn the slang or different phrases. In Quebec Canada the French is different. This coming year I want to work on Swahili. Sometimes they say kiswahili.I'm going to watch movies and have real listening n speaking exercises. I was trying to understand the speaking differences between Igbo and Yoruba.Wouldn't it be nice if Harmony n I visited Mombasa, and Nairobi and Tanzania?πŸŒŸπŸŽπŸ™✨🌠I was wondering if West Africa was Bae or East Africa but Let's just say Africa is Bae πŸ’•πŸ’ž⭐✨🌠

Yesterday I was going to get my steps in but my body ,specifically my foot said No so I listened.

Blessings and Peace
